DLA Piper advises Neuberger Berman

DLA Piper has advised Neuberger Berman on its SEK 540 million investment in SBF Institution AB, a Swedish real property fund managed by SBF Fonder. Neuberger Berman's investment entails the acquisition of shares from existing investors in SBF Institution AB, as well as the acquisition of a residential property portfolio from another fund managed by SBF Fonder, SBF Bostad AB (publ), valued at SEK 975 million, entailing an aggregate transaction value of approximately SEK 1.5 billion.

The transaction underscores continued international investor interest and confidence in the Swedish residential property market, driven by expectations of rental growth and resilience against economic fluctuations. The acquired portfolio consists of 826 residential apartments totaling approximately 62,933 square meters, located across seven regional Swedish cities. The transaction is expected to be completed by October 2025.
