DLA Piper has advised Cube Infrastructure Managers, an independent mid-market infrastructure investor, on its acquisition of a majority stake in GleSYS Holding AB.

GleSYS operates data centers and has in the past years grown to be a leading provider of digital infrastructure solutions in the Nordics, offering a one-stop-shop for cloud and hosting products and services. In addition, the company's data centers use 100% renewable energy and recycles heat from its data centers to heat residential homes in the community. Cube invests in businesses providing sustainable infrastructure to growing needs in the market and acquired GleSYS through its Cube Infrastructure Fund III.

Following the transaction, the founder of GleSYS along with certain key employees will reinvest in the company and remain as active key employees, contributing to further growth of the company.

The DLA Piper team was led by Simon Charbit in France, Mathias Berggren in Sweden and Petri Morelius in Finland. The core team members included Mikael Hagström, Sandra Ibrahim, Julia Engberg, Ida-Sofia Antinluoma and Tuija Kaijalainen.
