DLA Piper in Sweden appoints three new partners
DLA Piper in Sweden has appointed three new partners – Charlotte Brunlid, Johan Hübner and Olof Forssell. The appointments mark an important step in the firm’s continued strategic growth and reflect a clear focus on capabilities in technology, regulatory compliance, public procurement and defence.
Charlotte Brunlid, who has been with DLA Piper since 2020, leads the firm’s Public Procurement practice in Sweden. She has extensive experience advising on public procurement, defence and security matters, and foreign direct investment (FDI) screening. Charlotte has previously worked at the Ministry of Finance, the Swedish Competition Authority, the National Board for Public Procurement (NOU) and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV). She’s widely recognised as one of Sweden’s leading lawyers in her field. Charlotte Brunlid joins as partner on 1 July 2026.
Johan Hübner joins DLA Piper with experience as a partner at a leading business law firm. He advises on commercial matters, focusing on technology‑driven areas such as IT, AI, data, digital services and complex commercial agreements. Johan serves as Vice Chair of the IBA Technology Law Committee and is a member of the IBA LPD AI Working Group. He has also played a key role in the Swedish Bar Association’s work on guidance for the use of generative AI in legal practice. Johan joins DLA Piper as partner on 1 June 2026.
Olof Forssell joins DLA Piper with a background from an international business law firm, where he most recently served as counsel in the International Commercial and Trade practice. He has a strong background in customs and trade compliance, export controls, sanctions, financial crime prevention and regulatory matters related to international trade and financial services. Olof has extensive experience advising global clients across sectors including defence, life sciences, technology and financial institutions. Olof joins DLA Piper as a partner in June 2026.
