Joel Montin

Joel Montin specializes in financial regulation, covering a broad range of matters, including licensing, conduct requirements, internal policies and procedures, and regulatory interactions. Joel's expertise spans various financial products and services, such as securities, derivatives, consumer credit, insurance distribution, and investment funds. With extensive experience in the banking and capital markets industry both in Sweden and internationally, Joel also has in-depth knowledge of fund distribution and structuring, fund investments, as well as financing aspects of insurance operations and consumer-related financial issues.

Before joining DLA Piper, Joel led the financial regulatory advisory practice at another law firm. Prior to that, Joel served as Head of Funding, Capital & Resolution, legal at Nordea and also gained experience at Sweden's central bank.
