DLA Piper has advised EQT Ventures on its investment in 1X Holdings

DLA Piper has advised EQT Ventures on its investment in 1X Holdings ("1X"), an AI and robotics company producing androids to benefit and meet the world's labor demand. EQT Ventures, among others, participated in the investment round where the company raised approximately USD 100 million.

1X is a tech company founded in Norway that designs and develops androids that cooperate with or replace humans. 1X's androids support humans in a wide range of tasks such as logistics and guarding for large enterprises, and  everyday home assistance for a wide range of domestics tasks for the everyday consumer. 1X offers an android safe to work among people and a new approach to embodied learning for data collection, and the company stands at the forefront of AI robotics.

The team from DLA Piper consisted mainly of Mikael Moreira, Erik Rosberg, Joacim Kanstedt and Fanny Lidström from DLA Piper in Sweden, as well as Cara Hupprich and Jeff Lehrer from DLA Piper in the US.
