We have maintained the familiarity of a small firm

My job as a legal assistant in DLA Piper is varied, demanding and stimulating – that is why I like it here. I have always wanted to develop and DLA Piper has given me opportunities to do so. Something else that makes me enjoy my role here is that I feel that my lawyers trust that I will fix everything – at the right time – even if I do not have all the information from the start. I like that, because it means that they trust me. Gaining the trust of the people I work with enables me to grow in my role and to learn new things every day. You can also always knock on anyone’s door if you have something you need to discuss. For even though DLA Piper has grown over the years and is now a large firm, we have maintained the familiarity of a small firm.
