Jessica Ehrling primarily works with private equity and venture capital, intellectual property, corporate commercial and corporate matters.
Jessica has experience in assisting private equity and venture capital firms on domestic and cross-border transactions, as well as assisting emerging companies through their lifecycle including equity fundraising and incentive programmes.
Jessica has a particular focus on the technology sector and has been working at DLA Piper's office in Silicon Valley.
Jessica has been teaching corporate law and legal English at Swedish universities.
Advised Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) in the sale of B2C assets to Betsson AB (publ) (Betsson). The sale included the operator brands Rizk, Guts, Kaboo and Thrills and related operational entities including assets, business activities, operations, front-end and middleware technology and gaming licenses attributable to GiG's B2C operations. As part of the transaction, GiG and Betsson entered into a Platform Services Agreement for a minimum of two and a half years to host the acquired brands on GiG's B2B platform.
Advised insightsoftware, backed by TA Associates and Genstar Capital, in the acquisition of Bizview Systems, a business performance management provider with a unified interface for faster, easier business planning and forecasting, dashboards and analytics.
Advised ABRY Partners on the sale of the majority share in AddSecure Investment I AB to Castik Capital.
Advised STG Partners, a California-based private equity firm focused on investing in innovative software, data, and analytics companies, on its acquisition of Visma Retail and Extenda, two of the most prominent technology providers in the tier 1 & 2 retail industry. The transaction involved a multi-jurisdictional team, including lawyers across six different jurisdictions.
Advised ABRY Partners and its investee company, AddSecure, on the cross-border acquisition of the leading European Fleet Management specialist Vehco. The group consists of Vehco AB and its subsidiaries Vehco A/S, Vehco France SAS, Vehco GmbH, Vehco Norge AB, Vehco Communications SL and Vehco International AB. The transaction involved a multi-jurisdictional deal team and included lawyers from DLA Piper offices in nine different jurisdictions.
Advised Agilitas Private Equity-backed Relita Industri- & Skadeservice AB, the Swedish division of Recover Nordic Group, a provider of damage control, emergency response and environmental services, in its acquisition of Betongborrargruppen i Mälardalen AB, a company specialising in specialist demolition and remediation of concrete for real estate and construction projects in Sweden.
Advised The Hut Group, one of the world´s largest online Health & Beauty retailers and brand owners, on the acquisition of GLOSSYBOX from the majority shareholders Rocket Internet and Kinnevik.
Advised Tobin Properties AB (publ) in the acquisition of the real properties Marievik 22 and Marievik 29 in Stockholm.
