DLA Piper advises Grade AB in connection with its acquisition of FCG Digital Oy

DLA Piper has advised Grade AB on its acquisition of FCG Digital Oy, a recently spun-off company from FCG Finnish Consulting Group. FCG Digital is Finland’s leading provider of digital solutions for job advertising and recruitment within the public sector. The recruitment software is used by a large proportion of Finnish municipalities, the Finnish Church, health regions and the Finnish state.

Grade provides a complete solution for organizations that want to recruit, develop and retain employees. In 2022, Grade expanded its presence in the Norwegian market through the acquisition of Jobbnorge, one of Norway's leading providers of services and digital solutions in recruitment, and now Grade is entering the Finnish market through the acquisition of FCG Digital.

Through the acquisition, Grade accelerates its growth journey and is now a market-leading Nordic player in HR technology for the public sector, with the goal of becoming the Nordic region's leading full-service provider of Talent Management solutions. The growing Grade group now consists of the companies FCG Digital, Jobbnorge, Varbi, Grade, Workbuster, Realcruit and Refensa. The largest owner is Viking Venture.

The acquisition is subject to certain regulatory requirements.
