DLA Piper advises Siemens with their investment in H2 Green Steel

DLA Piper has advised Siemens Financial Services, with its equity investment in H2 Green Steel ("H2GS"). Siemens Financial Services is the financing arm of Siemens, the German multinational technology company. H2GS was founded in 2020 with the purpose to decarbonize hard-to-abate industries by, among other things, producing steel with lower CO2 emissions than steel made with traditional coke-fired blast furnaces.
