DLA Piper Advises Voi in Securing Funding for Future Growth and Potential Listing
DLA Piper advised Voi securing 255 million SEK in new capital from existing shareholders. CEO Fredrik Hjelm hinted in an article in Dagens Industri at a potential future listing, stating that achieving profitability and sustainable growth is the next milestone for the company.
With plans to scale up their fleet of e-bikes and scooters, invest in central functions, and enhance user experience, Voi is on track to reach profitability within the next two years. The company has shown resilience amidst changing market conditions and is focused on sustainable growth.
Existing shareholders, including VNV Global, Raine Group, Balderton Capital, and others, have shown continued support by participating in the round. The recent valuation of Voi stands at 380 million dollars, indicating strong investor confidence in the company's future prospects.
Voi's presence in over 100 cities across 12 countries in Europe positions them as a key player in the e-mobility sector. With a strategic focus on increasing revenues per vehicle and user, Voi aims to drive growth while maintaining financial stability.
