DLA Piper has advised Heimstaden Bostad with a capital investment in joint venture with Allianz

DLA Piper has advised Heimstaden Bostad AB in connection with a capital investment by the company and its partner Allianz in the joint venture Heimstaden Eagle AB. The investment amounts to a total of SEK 7 billion, where Allianz invests approximately SEK 3.9 billion and Heimstaden approximately SEK 3.1 billion. 
 
Heimstaden Bostad AB will simultaneously invest approximately EUR 262 (approx. SEK 2.815 million) in a new joint venture with Allianz regarding the co-owning and management of Allianz' German residential portfolio. The new joint venture will own 38 properties with 3 135 homes located mainly in Düsseldorf, Munich, Cologne, Bonn, Berlin and Stuttgart. 
 
The transaction is conditional upon merger clearance by the German Federal Cartel Office and is expected to be completed in December 2022.
