DLA Piper strengthens grip as the premier M&A legal advisor in the Nordic region

For the 7th consecutive year, DLA Piper is the law firm assisting in the highest number of transactions in the Nordic region according to the Mergermarket Legal Advisor League Tables 2023.

Our lawyers in the Nordic region have been involved in 262 registered transactions in 2023 and are once again the most successful M&A legal advisor in the Nordic region. DLA Piper is also number one in terms of number of transactions globally and in Europe.

In Sweden, we maintain a strong position with 97 transactions registered during the year with a deal value of 9,147 million USD, a position that places DLA Piper second in terms of deal volume and fourth in terms of deal value.

Significantly, Mathias Berggren, partner at DLA Piper in Sweden, is one of the top three partners in terms of deal volume globally for 2023, with an impressive personal contribution of 24 completed transactions.
