A large workplace with room for many small relationships

My journey at DLA Piper began almost two years ago. The first time I took the elevator up to the 6th floor, where most of our employees are sitting, I realised the size of the workplace I found myself in. It took a little while to get into the groups and get to know my colleagues, but now I have built relationships with most of the people in the firm and have a sense of belonging which I am pleased about. I feel very much at home here. DLA Piper has an organisation and structure that gives me the confidence to lean on others when necessary – there is always a back-up. To be able to grow and develop the firm together with my colleagues is the reason why I like it here so much. My background in reception and conference means that I love service and meeting people, so this job is just right for me.
