In Memory of Fredrik Gustafsson
It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart with which we announce today that our colleague and friend, Fredrik Gustafsson, suddenly passed away on Friday, 22 November. Fredrik had worked at the law firm for 24 years, and throughout that time was a profile of significance and an esteemed employee.
Fredrik's academic credentials were deeper and broader than most. He graduated with a Master of Laws from Uppsala University in 1990, prior to obtaining his Doctor of Laws Degree at the University of Minnesota in 1994. It was in Minnesota that Fredrik met his wife-to-be, Laura.
Fredrik's legal knowledge extended to many fields, his particular area of expertise being tax law. He was an expert on incentive programs, the structuring of real estate transactions and VAT issues. Significant was the respect for his broad and deep knowledge of tax matters, as significant was his contribution to the law firm's development and knowledge in this practice area.
Fredrik was the kindest person imaginable. We will all miss his laughter and ingenious humour, as well as his insightful opinions, which encompassed the many topics that he happily shared together with his substantial general knowledge.
Fredrik is survived by his wife, Laura; daughter, Lovisa; and mother, Ragnhild.
Thank you for everything Fredrik. You will be deeply missed.
