Miljana Bigović is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution group at DLA Piper Sweden. She holds an LL.M. in International Commercial Arbitration Law from Stockholm University and an LL.M. in International Investment Protection and Banking Law (summa cum laude) from the University of Novi Sad. Miljana is also currently an LL.M. candidate at Harvard Law School and a qualified attorney in the Republic of Serbia. Miljana has extensive experience in representing clients in international arbitration proceedings, seated in Sweden and abroad.

Before joining DLA Piper, Miljana worked in the arbitration group at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr in London and also served as a research assistant at Stockholm University. Miljana also completed a secondment with the international arbitration group of DLA Piper’s Paris office. Throughout her legal education, she was recognized with numerous prestigious awards for academic excellence, including being named valedictorian of the University of Novi Sad and receiving scholarships from the Swedish Government and Stockholm University for her studies in Sweden. Miljana is also a regular speaker at international conferences and seminars on the topic of international arbitration.
