DLA Piper has advised Telge (i Södertälje) AB on the sale of the electricity company Telge Energi AB to Fortum Markets AB. Telge Energi AB was founded 1994 and has since 2008 sold electricity exclusively from renewable sources. The enterprise value amounts to approximately SEK 450,000,000.

The transaction is subject to approval by the municipal board and the municipal council of Södertälje municipality as well as by the Swedish Competition Authority.
